The Norwich Y and Chobani a healthy combination
In an effort to provide our members with a healthy snack option – especially those youth members who utilize the YMCA facility – we’ve teamed up with Chobani to... bring you a delicious, all-natural treat.
We ask that you limit yourself to one free Chobani Greek Yogurt a week and don’t forget to place all your trash in the garbage when you’re done refueling!
We hope all of our YMCA members enjoy this protein-packed option. Thank you Chobani for supporting our community YMCA, especially our youth members.

Come Swim With Us on the YMCA DOLPHIN Swim Team
Have you ever considered swimming with Dolphins? Now is your chance. Sign up for the YMCA Dolphin Swim team. This program is for all area youth ages 5 to 18. The season will begin in October and conclude in February and or March for some swimmers. Contact YMCA Aquatics Director, Jill Natoli for more information.
No School No Problem
The Norwich YMCA offers a School Age Childcare program called Fun Club when Norwich City Schools are not in session. Parents do you need a safe place for your child to attend while you go to work or when there is no school? Consider the YMCA Fun Club program, a full day childcare program where your children will be watched by Y staff in a supervised setting. The pool, gymnasium, rock wall, kids gym, exergame room, crafts, and more. Proper paperwork is required in advance if your child is currently not participating in the After School Program. You may register at the YMCA front desk.  
Come Run With US!

The CNY fit Running Club is a group that has been formed to unite the local running community and offer a structured, weekly schedule to mentor, motivate and challenge all involved. Different groups of all fitness levels, from a new beginners group, focusing on learning the basics of running, to an advanced group for seasoned runners, focusing on speed and distance. Beginners will learn to run using the C25K (couch to 5K) method (it works!) We will meet 3 days a week for 9 weeks so you can . . . Session Starts Tuesday, September 22nd at the Norwich Family YMCA. Do you Trot?
Mark your calendars for the 34th Annual Norwich Family YMCA Turkey Trot 5K road race. This years race will be held on Sunday, November 22nd at 12:30 p.m. Our sponsors are being finalized and applications will soon be available. We will have applications available on the YMCA Website, Facebook page and the our local media outlets the Evening Sun and Pennysaver. We hope you can join this longstanding YMCA and Norwich community event. So start preparing now. 
Registration Week Fitness

Registration Week Swim Lessons
Registration begins on September 8th for our Fall Swim Lessons. The Fall session will begin on the week of September 14th.  
The Chenango Fall Recreational Soccer program is a county wide recreational soccer program that takes place from Late August through the end of October. Each community that participates is required to register their teams and players. Communities that have participated in the past include: Norwich, Oxford, Unadilla Valley, Gilbertsville, Afton, Bainbridge, Greene and Sherburne. Please find the master schedules for each community participating and their teams.  
Preferred Foundation partners with Norwich YMCA to provide students with free swim lessons
NEW BERLIN, NY (April 15, 2015) – The Preferred Foundation, a corporate giving entity of Preferred Mutual Insurance Company, is partnering with the Norwich YMCA in 2015 to provide free swim lessons to selected first graders in Chenango County. The swim sessions will begin in early May and continue through the end of the year.
