Membership and Session Pricing New membership rates became effective January 1, 2007. New rates will be introduced to current members upon their renewal date. For example, if your membership was last renewed in September 2006, you will not see a change in your membership fee until September of 2007. Youth and teen member rates will undergo a modest $5.00 increase. The Norwich Family YMCA is proud to offer its Open Doors Scholarship Program which strives to carry out the YMCA mission by reaching out to serve people in need in our community. Each year the YMCA awards thousands of dollars in fi nancial assistance to many deserving youth, teens, adults, seniors and families. Through the Open Doors Scholarship Program those who might not otherwise be able to afford YMCA programs and/or membership are able to participate. Our ‘Easy Pay’ option allows you to make monthly bank draft payments against your annual membership fee. Bank drafting can be done through your checking or savings account through any financial institution.

All of our membership rates are all-inclusive, meaning all fitness classes, the swimming pool and the Fitness Center are included in your membership. The Fitness Center is equipped with state-of-the-art CYBEX machines, treadmills, bicycles, elliptical machines and a fully equipped free weight room. (Note: 30 days written notice is required to terminate a membership. If a decision is made to rejoin within a six month period, a $30.00 rejoining fee will be imposed.)
