Retirement Seminar
Mr. W. Jeffrey Weinell will give a presentation on retirement on Thursday, May 30 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at the YMCA. This presentation will be of special interest to all members of the New York State Employee Retirement System and of the New York State Teacher’s Retirement System, but especially Tier 5 and Tier 6 members. 2013 Track Camp
Who: Area youth ages 9 to 14
What: The opportunity to learn track and field skills, such as improved running form for speed & efficiency, starting blocks, relay hand offs, hurdles, long rum, high jump and throws.
Where: Register at the YMCA, practices at Norwich High School Track
When:May 15, 17, 21, 23, 28 - June 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 and July 1, 3 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Extras
1. This year the Norwich YMCA is sponsoring a local qualifying meet for the Hershey’s Track and Field Games on June 15th at 5:00 p.m. at Norwich High School.
2. Additionally, for those that qualify, there is a Hershey’s Games Regional Meet on June 29th in Herkimer, NY.

splash week

SPLASH WEEK is a 5-day, fun-filled introduction to swimming and water safety skills for students entering 2nd grade who are either beginners or non-swimmers. Participants will learn the basics of water safety, swimming techniques, and rescue skills, while building character and confidence! Splash Week will be free to participants thanks to funding through the Chenango County United Way.
• Five 45 minute classes (9:00-9:45 am or 6:00-6:45pm)
• Register at the Norwich Family YMCA in person, fax, or mail no later than MAY 24th. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Kids Club
A summer pre-school program for children ages 3-5. The program will run from June 24 - August 9 from 9 am - 11:30 am Monday through Friday. Click here for more information.
