Our Vision
The Norwich Family YMCA - “We build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.”
Our Values
Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
Our Mission
The Norwich Family YMCA, a non-profit charitable organization, is a fellowship of persons of all ages, creeds and classes united in the common effort to develop the body, mind and spirit of our families, our communities, and ourselves through activities guided by and based upon Christian principles. The Norwich Family YMCA will strive to develop Christian personalities and will aid in building a Christian society through the improvement of physical, mental, social, moral and educational conditions of persons who participate in YMCA programs.
Our Strategies
-We will continue to be non-denominational and will not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, color, religion, or national origin.
-We will structure rates and fees at levels that will encourage participation across the broadest spectrum of economic levels.
-We will provide membership and program services for those in need, to the extent that charitable donation's and other sources permit.
-We will expand our facilities and programs where there is a demonstrable need consistent with sound financial feasibility.
